BOPHELO KE KGWELE

The BOPHELO KE KGWELE project offers the children and young adults of the township of Mamelodi-East in Pretoria a safe place in which to play and learn through after-school sports activities organised by the Altus Sport organisation.

Under the supervision of competent coaches this project informs and creates awareness of the health and social issues essential for healthy development. Bophelo Ke Kgwele also trains young coaches in skills for development through sport thus also improving their career opportunities. Finally, the project includes the renovation of the Rethabile Sports Grounds as well as the maintenance of a play area for the Mamelodi community.

Our local partner : Altus Sport.
